| IN THE BOTTLE BAR: 13:00 & 16:45 | |
| The Night Owls The Night Owls were formed in early 2008 from members of Taunton Ukulele Strummers Club (TUSC) and feature the ukulele and vocal stylings of Pat Goodall, Jim Gritt, Tom French and Nipper. The band form their repertoire from the hot syncopated songs of the 1920’s and the wooing love songs of the 1930’s and 40’s; these are some of the greatest songs ever written and sit perfectly on the ukulele. |

Monkey See Monkey Do
On stage 19:05![]() |
The ethos behind Monkey See Monkey Do is very simple: a
huge commitment towards a pulsating live performance with both band and
audience fully enjoying themselves. Musically the 5 piece performs its
love for rock from the last 3 decades, covering artists as diverse as
Coldplay and the Killers, to Chuck Berry and Iggy Pop. The set list is
designed to be wide ranging and flexible to suit all interests and age
groups. They are also now building a few original songs into their sets
whenever appropriate to further broaden both the band's (and
audiences) pleasure. The members of the band all have challenging full time jobs, so rely on music to give them a break and enjoy themselves, this comes across in the approach to gigs and live performance which is always raw (in a good way!), edgy (also in a good way!!), and lots of fun. All performance fees are donated to various charities, with a small additional charge to cover expenses. |

|
| A true power trio, they play with a
power, passion and commitment that captures the true nature of their
chosen music. With a powerful mixture of original and classic material, the Band delivers with the commitment and professionalism that has been earnt from many years touring the Blues, R&B and Rock circuits. The Band considers it essential that the soul of the music is conveyed to their audience with excitement and are never happier than when playing live. Fast or Slow, Loud or Quiet, if you like your Rock tinged with the Passion of the Blues and played with that honest energy that can only come from people who love their music, you will not be disappointed with Blue on Black. |
