"Following their hugely enjoyable afternoon set last year, the Spoon Thieves
return to the Newt, just in time to mop up after the Yard of Ale.  A Taunton-based 3-piece, the Spoons have quality songwriting and a blistering live sound at the top of their agenda, and the result is a collection of tunes (and indeed, pedals) to be jealous of, as well as a reputation for consistently impressive performances with dazzling guitar sounds that'll melt your face off.

They are proud of being somewhat uncategorisable, but influences include  Radiohead, Muse, Bluetones and Counting Crows.  They also have some of  the finest fan t-shirts and mugs in the business."

Chunky Kustard are a six-piece Ska'd Surf Punk band skankin' it up from Newquay, Cornwall. Achieving strong ties to the local surfing community we have built up a sizable following in the local and surrounding area with our lively, original, energetic ska-punk style. With witty lyrics complimenting powerful, light hearted and serious issues, to melodies that'll keep you humming for days!

     
  19.15pm - 20.15pm HOOCHIE COOCHIE BLUES BAND

Take four talented musicians where their music has a strong Rock Blues influence overlayed with their own original ideas. A band whose every live performance is a powerful energetic mixture of Rock and Blues giving 100% Members of the band are. Mojo Morgan, vocals. Simon Pettit, guitar and vocals. Nik Winterton, bass and vocals. Stevie, drums and vocals.

Authentic Sixties Soul The Orphans are an 11 piece authentic 60’s soul band. They pride themselves in providing an energetic set of classic soul numbers from the likes of Otis Reading, Sam & Dave and Wilson Pickett to name just few.

MAD DOG MCREA are a Professional touring band who have been working their magic around the globe since 1995. With their unigue blend of Raw Energy and Kaleidoscopic Acoustic Orchestration they have soared to incredible notoriety in the venues, clubs and pubs of Devon and Cornwall. They have toured extensively in UK, Ireland, Europe, USA and completed a 6 Month Residency in the Island of Phuket, Thailand.
