Welcome to the Internewt home of the Newt Festival. Probably the biggest and best beer and music festival in the South West of England and definitely the most fun you will have this year.
Now in our 21st year, we have established our place in the festival calendar, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the country to enjoy a fabulous couple of days in the Somerset countryside. Why not make a weekend of it and stay on our camp site along with hundreds of other Newt festival fans.
We have a superb line-up of live music and entertainment throughout the weekend. Oh, and don't forget the now famous (it's on You Tube) Yard of Ale competition. This year we have added a second stage to the festival line-up, so that will mean even more great music and entertainment throughout the weekend. You can see what we have in store for you by following the menus at the top and bottom of the page.
The Festival opens its doors earlier this year at 2pm on Friday the 13th of July 2012 and runs though to 1am on Saturday. We reopen again at 12pm on the Saturday and close up again at 1am on Sunday.

If the beer is the reason you are here, then you won't be disappointed in the 85+ beers and ciders available each year at the festival, most of which are sourced from small brewers from across the South West. There will be some old favourites mixed in with a few brews that will tantalise the taste buds and may become your new top tipple.
Why do we do it each and every year? Well, the surplus funds generated each year by the Newt Festival are donated to North Newton Community Primary School and other local groups. Read all about our fundraising efforts and the 21 year history of the famous Newt Festival here.
